Blue Rock Springs has two 18 hole courses, both are similar, with the West course being slightly more difficult. Both are situated on very hilly terrain, and rest assured, lies will never be on a flat plane. Always uphill or downhill. I distinctly remember slicing a ball to the right of one par 3 green and it landed on a slope, so steep a mountain goat would have a difficult time standing on it. I managed a meager pitch which landed in the rough beside the green, chipped on and 2 putted for a double bogie. I played both of these courses during the week, and play was fairly fast. 3-1/2 hours and 4-1/4 hours to play the 18 holes. The course has Pao Annua grass, has water in play on several holes, bunkers guard the greens and fairway bunkers penalize errant tee shots, has some elevated greens, some elevated tee boxes, a horizontal 90 yard wide ditch across one par 4 fairway, and moderately challenging to easy greens. The biggest challenge on the greens is they slope like the rest of the course. Overall it was an enjoyable course to play, will challenge an average golfer and a low handicapper will find it possible to hit par. My scores ranged from 85-92. I would say this is a GOOD course to play.
