APPROACHING THE GREEN
FROM THE ROUGH. A SCENE I KNOW TOO WELL. ALTHOUGH MY HANDICAP IS
HIGH, I ENJOY THE GAME OF GOLF AS MUCH AS ANYONE.
ANOTHER FINE GOLF
COURSE ,(Riviera Country Club) DURING A PGA TOURNAMENT. I HAVE PLAYED IT ALSO, BUT WITH
A MUCH HIGHER SCORE THAN THE GENTLEMEN IN THE PHOTO.

The Golf Course at the Ojai Valley Inn,
rated as One of the World's Best. It is the site of many
PGA Seniors events, is 6,235 yards from the blue tees, par 70 and
has a deceiving slope rating of 122. It is the most
difficult 122 slope course I have ever seen. The front nine
are difficult, but the back nine is a killer.
Almost no water, but lots of bunkers, rough and trees.
Everything seems to slope in one direction or another. In
other words, it is truly a great course!! (My scores range from
90 - 103)
