| The Napa Valley
is home to some of the best wineries in the world, and certainly
in the USA. The Napa Valley is also home to the CIA, Culinary Institute
of America at Greystone. The CIA trains some of the world's top
chef's. Their main headquarters is in New York, but their west
coast branch is in Napa. |
In the 1860's European grapes were transplanted in
the valley, and within 10 years the area was producing much
demanded wine in San Francisco and other nearby cities. Wine has
continued to be produced in this area, and today it boasts some
of the finest wines to be found in the world. During my visits to
this area, I have met people from all over the world that
traveled to this valley to sample the fine wine, excellent food,
and hospitality that is available from world class inns in the
area.
