| The Rhine House, located at the Berringer
Vineyards. The Berringer Vineyards is the oldest,
continuously operating vineyard in the Napa Valley. It began
production in 1876. The winery was founded by two German
brothers, that migrated from the German wine producing area in
the Rhine River Valley. Berringer currently produces some highly
aclaimed vintages of Cabernet, Chardonnay and Merlot. Some of
their Limited and Special Reserve wines can often only be
purchased at the winery. They have several wine tasting rooms on
site and offer guided tours. |

| The Beaulieu
Vineyard located in Rutherford CA, pictured at left, looks much
like some of the wineries I have seen in Bordeaux, France. The
founder, Georges de Latour, from Bordeaux France, started the
winery in 1899, and they have produced very high quality wines
ever since. The Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet is
definately one of the finest Cabernet's in the area. The wine
tasting room is popular at this winery. |

| The Charles Krug
Winery was started in 1861, and operated until Prohibition in the
1920's when it shut down, therefore it was not continuously
operating. (The Berringer Winery operated through prohibition by
offically making Sacremental Wines for local churches.) This
winery produces fine Chardonnay's, Chenin Blanc, Gewurztraminer,
Cabernet's, Pinot Noir and Zinfadel wines, which are available
for on site tasting. |
